Letter to Mummy & Daddy - 30 December 1939
A handwritten letter by Christopher to his father while visiting his Aunt Dorothea Maclagan's (herself a watercolour artist and art tutor to Sir Winston Churchill's children) home at Orchard Farmhousem Meadle
Dear Mummy & Daddy,
I hope you are very well. Have you had the shouting match against the home card? and who has won.
I saw and aeroplane with a long stream of vaper.
It is a very nice day to day. We have not used the fire works yet.
We have not had any snow yet, but it gets couled at times and all the ice here has all cleard away.
Love,
from Christopher
