A selection of Christopher Blake's botanical illustrations remain on display at the Sarawak Museum (Old Building) in Kuching. The old building was built in 1891 and renovated in 1911 to its present design. It is recognised as the oldest museum in Southeast Asia. Originally the building was constructed to store and exhibit the handicrafts of local indigenous communities and local animal collections.

On the ground floor of the museum, there are natural collections and specimens of Sarawak fauna such as reptiles, mammals, birds and others. The upper floors of the building display ethnographic materials such as models of longhouses of various types, fish, animal traps and art.
